Self-adjusters only work if they're well-maintained and clean, and you come to a FULL STOP every time you apply the brakes in reverse. It will require dozens of stops to tighten up brakes that are as loose as yours appear to be, as it takes 20 stops to turn the adjusting wheel one turn- - - -assuming it takes up one notch every time you stop in reverse.
