| | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 6,212 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 6,212 | Chevrolet started using the side motor mounts in 1958 on the passenger cars, the trucks still used the front mounts however they did have the bolt hole boss' cast but not used. 1955 thru 1957 SBC V8's did not have the side mount boss'.
