So I brought the 38 1-1/2 ton home. The original paint is 99% gone leaving a nice desert rusted patina which I kind of like since that is the way I remember this truck as a kid. So I’m wondering about spraying the whole
truck exterior and frame with a rust converter like Corroseal to stop further rusting and leave it at that. Does anyone have experience with these products? Will it leave a reasonable rust like final finish or will it wind up splotchy and a weird color? Are there other reasons I may not want to do this?
