| | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,280 Renaissance Man | | Renaissance Man Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,280 | You could temporarily remove the front and rear studs in the head and replace them with long alignment studs made out of bolts with the heads cut off.
This should help align the manifold to the head so that the alignment rings will go in as the gasket compresses some.
