The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Engine Shop Remflex manifold gasket install

After reading multiple postings about the Remflex gasket, I ordered one for my 261 rebuild. The gasket thickness is approximately equal to the depth of the intake manifold rings that protrude from the head. Because of this I have been unable to get all 3 rings to mate to the intake manifold openings. I'm curious as to how others have made everything line up without the manifold rings protruding past the gasket.
