The truck is on the road now with about 600 miles on it so far. Got most of the bugs out of it by now. I use the truck almost daily around. This weekend will be the first test with a small load on the bed. Going to Cumberland for our first antique outdoor show of the year bringing a John Deere M on the back.
So far, a blast to drive.
As for the windshields, I was planning on replacing them anyway as they were starting to show white between lamination. I ordered a new lace and got them both cut locally for 60$. Luckily enough, the outside of the hood only suffer a small scratch, matching the other... The worse was the spot welds let go on the spring hinges. The other day, driving back from a meeting, I spotted a old truck sitting halfway sink into the ground. Ask the old farmer if I can purchase the center window trim, got it for 10$.
