on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! He just replaced his flywheel when he did a clutch job because it was chewed to hell. He replaced it with 139 tooth ring gear. He now has a weird gear whine when he engages the starter but no gear clash. How many teeth on the starter should he have? When he changed to 12v he got rid of the stomp starter. My thought is he has a starter in there that wants a 168 tooth flywheel. Am I wrong?? Thanks in advance, Steve
