The fact that I am asking this question probably means that I have no business using a lift. But here goes: I gave myself a used two post lift for Christmas and now in May I am lifting my '53 truck for the first time. The bottom of the frame is a good six inches above the height of the running boards and the lift points are too close to the legs to lift on the frame. What is the safest way to place the legs of the lift under the frame? All my ideas seem dangerous. There must be a simple solution. Pictures would be appreciated
