For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 23 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 23 | I'll look forward to some pictures. I am busy trying to get mine ready to go out for painting. I am trying to mock it all up on one frame ( hot rod/ 383 ci stroker on propane/ 4L60/ NP 207 transfer case ) but will switch it all to another stock frame so the painter will have a rolling chassis. Then I can get on with the truck frame and get it done. I am torn about using the wood deck with our BC wet weather ( mine will be a daily driver) but thought of using 1/8" plate Line-X'ed on the bottom to minimize squeaks against the cross members etc , and once the truck is painted, line-X the whole bed for durability. Be interested in anyones thoughts. Are you in Vancouver area Bruce? | | |
