The offset blocks align with their corresponding mounts. I just used square blocks however. Either way, doesn't matter unless you're going for a points restoration.

I was wondering if the blocks they sell are actually pickup bed mounting blocks? I had the same experience, and thanks to your advice I also cut mine down to 1-5/8 inches.
