** In ref: to the wood blocks from JC ** I got the same mounting blocks from JC for my 53 Suburban when I compared them with the orig. blocks there was quite a difference. The orig. blocks were only 1 5/8" in height while the new blocks were 2" ** Maybe the new one's were that way for necessary adjustments along the way of getting the body mounted back on the frame. Cut all of the new blocks down to match the orig. one's on mine.
