I'm not much of an engine guy so I'm hoping you can advise me. I bought a 58 Chevy with a 350 SBC actually built and represented to me as a 383. I replaced the intake gasket for leak and rebuilt 4 barrel etlebrock carb, got her running but when I went to set timing ,,,,no timing tab indicator. Ugg I looked on line and found that there are more options than I can weed though. I'd like ro just put on an OEE tab indicator. What do you engine guys say? What do I need? It has a EI distributor. Does the original bolt on engine Block off to drivers side ( two bolt holes there ) or timing cover bolts. Thanks for any help. Pete
