It’s not that hard to relocate the filler neck, just a bit dangerous. Mark where you want it to go. Remove the tank. Empty it of ALL fuel. Fill it with water and begin your cuts with a cutoff wheel. Weld the neck in place. Weld the patch over the old location. Dress up your welds. Dump the water. Put your shop vac hose on the discharge side and stick the hose in the filler neck. Walk away for an hour or so. Install the tank, fill with fuel and you’re off to the races.ðŸ›
