Last January, I made my annual visit to the Barrett-Jackson auction, in Scottsdale. They had a 1949 3600 up for auction. I had the original sales paperwork with it. It sold for $1754.25, new. I know that is a bit of an apple an oranges deal. But, It would give you some kind of idea. It seems like it depends on who helps you at the DMV here. They didn't even want to see my truck. No questions at all. Just handed them the title from Oregon. They typed away on the computer and asked me for a $19.50 annual registration fee, plus the price of a plate. They handed me my plate and paperwork, and off I went.
