Was out at Mecum auction today in Houston. Lot's of AD's for sale, all very nice. Best of the lot was a '50 3600 that sold for $36K. The most original restoration that I've seen. Retained 6V system, all original wiring. Interesting that it had a 3 speed on the column, but the HD 8 lug RE and spindles. Never seen that. I talked with the fella selling it, said his Dad did it and put $85K in it....not sure about that. I'm sure Martin who is lurking in the wings will find some obscure rule that I've violated and stick this in the spoon where 6 people will see it. Whatever.....very nice truck though.
