Keep in mind that if one retains ones torque tube rear end (with torque tube replaced with a later model open-style pinion) one will need to alter the way the axle mounts to the springs. Either weld-on spring perches (my preference), or weld up the rubber impregnated '52 axle-to-spring mounts (not so fun to do correctly).
