Your answer confirms what I thought. Yea, I deviated a slight amount from the original design with the fuse panels, but that's only for my peace of mind (and it's a good safety measure).
Thank you, and everybody else, for their insight. I knew what I was thinking, it was the 'explaining' that was iffy.
(and so far, HRL hasn't gotten me for over-thinking this.....he may yet though).
