So do regular furnace filters stop fumes? Or just paint dust, etc? Usually the purpose of a homemade paint booth is to keep dust out of the painting area, with primer it is not as critical, my painter buddy primers outside often-he says you are gonna sand it anyway. Also primer is thicker which builds up more inside a confined area.
