If I were to go away from the 216/235/261 (and I have), I would go with a small block V8. Going with a 350 is not any more work than going with 292. A 235/261 is a direct bolt-in. 1952 5-window - return to "as built" condition \| 1950 3100 with a 235 and a T-5 transmission
