I changed the valve covers on the 41 (they were a wee bit higher), which caused me to relocate the alt. bracket. After playing around with it, I got the low mount bracket from Jegs. It mounts down low on the drivers side. Think it was around $50. Like you said, there's not a lot of room to work with.
