In 1949-1951, the "back splash" bar of the painted grille was white (with no pin stripe on the body-colored part of the bar).
Chrome grills were an available option in 1951.
Are you referring to the inside or outside door-window trim/molding? I think bright (stainless) molding was available in both locations in RPO 390 in 1951.
Build sheet? Receipt with options and accessories, maybe.
How should you restore it? It's your truck; it's your choice.
