Could be over heating. Watch the gauge. Could be too much fluid in Rad. Could be water pump running backwards.....wrong water pump Could be a screwed up "new" core install
Please always state what motor, as well as year and model.
Is there steam? Bubbles? Thermostat correct/new? Overflow tank installed? I have read that heater hoses on backwards can cause bubbles. I don't know if that's true.
