Just had an idea that may help you. See if you can find someone in the US that is changing out their front axle or willing to sell you one for cheap. Have them send it to SID for you. Once Sid is complete, have him send it to you. At least you will save shipping across the pond one direction. Not sure what the overall cost would be, but might be the easiest.
