Putting the cab for 38 half ton on new, custom frame. The cab was fastened to the original frame with 3 bolts on each side - one “under” the cowl (kick plate area); one near front of seat; and one under the seat. Chevy of 40s appears to sell aftermarket block/shim kit for the front, under cowl bolt area. I don’t see anything for the other two connection points. When I pulled the cab, it looks like there were rubber bed shims at all three connection points.
Question- what do folks normally use for the connection points between the cab and the frame, particularly the back two points?
