Panic, it's interesting you mention that. After a 15-minute drive, I had to drain 2 quarts of oil to add 2 quarts of diesel to the crankcase, and I expected the oil to be really hot and almost burn my hands, but it wasn't that hot. And after adding the diesel and letting the engine idle for 20 more minutes, the oil still wasn't hand-burning hot. I guess your comment explains why that is. Hopefully I still got a decent clean-out before adding the new oil.
