Yes - I just purchased a new switch assembly from Bowtie Bits for my 1954 truck, it has three positions, off , and then two more clockwise. In the first "on" position all three poles have continuity, in the farthest CW "on" position there is no continuity between poles. Once the key is turned one position clockwise I can remove the key and turn it one more position clockwise and back, but I cannot turn it to the off position unless I put the key back in. I would never have thought to check that until I read your post and got curious. So its seems as if these switches are fully CCW is the only "lock position" ? Please post what you figure out.
