better to use a
55-59 repro switch, which work well [I think eliminating the small fuse would cut power to the switch, shouldn't be a problem with that] - should be available from all suppliers .... the foot start type ign switch is not reproduced, would have to find good used, although the v8 type works fine - particularly if you're going to a V8
