well the thought that occurs is your "59" is actually on a 55-7 frame, which is about 3" shorter at the front -
chalk mark is 57 length .... have you confirmed the vin by finding it on the driver side frame rail near the steering box? wouldn't be surprising if the PO built up a 59 on a better older frame
