bolters, 1959 1/2 ton pickup, when purchased bumper installed with no splash guard (was in bed) found a 59 clip in rough shape but used hood and grill (splash guard installed). Trying to remount front bumper and cannot seem to get things lined up with splash guard installed, bumper back off and flipped brackets, try again...not even close. Pulled splash guard and try without, will line up only if the small contoured profile of the bumper is facing up, most of the pic I see have the larger conture up to accommodate the splash guard I'm guessing. When I flip it I can line it up, even the side supports...any ideas gentlemen as I would like to have the splash guard there to tidy up the look of it. From what I gather in the assembly manual, I'm upside down (an honest description of my state of mind right now) Any insite would be helpful
