Oilrag Shop Shark O Joined: Apr 2006 Posts: 506 PA, USA	The letter "R" is a big truck. Decode your serial # The block casting # will help identify the engine size, and the block casting date code will confirm the year. Maybe you got lucky and inherited a 261. -Tom 1950 Chevy 3100 w/ 1956 235
