jbaker Wrench Fetcher J Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 49 Florida East Coast	I have inherited a 6 cyl chevy engine want to know the year etc. I think it is a 235. The number stamped in block behind the Dist. is FI1090R.It has a screw on oil filter at the front on the dist side.So it is newer than the '54 I have.
