So I purchased a 1959 apache inline 6 tonight. I noticed that the gas pedal is roached and only the pin is coming from the firewall. Looks like the pedal assembly to the floor is also corroded and needs to be replaced. Does anyone have a decent picture of the setup where the gas pedal mounts to the driver side floorboard? Also does anybody knowwhere you can purchase a replacement part, OEM, repro, or aftermarket. Just need something to make it go vroooom but prefer something originalish looks.
