There are two different setups. 6 cyl and V8. The V8 is available. The ball, as said, snaps into the back of the pedal. You can adapt a V8 setup to a six. Depending are what carb you have. It's basically just a bell crank attached to floor. Maybe repair/modify what you have. It's just rods bent to suit.
