What concerned me at first was the "advertised duration" of the Elgin cam which is 290 degrees. That's well into racing cam territory, so it's going to be interesting to see what the degree wheel says after the cam and crank are installed. I'm expecting to find a long area of very slow lift that keeps the idle from getting rough due to exhaust gas reversion. Most street cams have an advertised duration somewhere in the 250-260 degree range and a fairly rapid rate of lift just off the base circle. Jerry
