Another question.....you checked just the passenger side on your vehicle?
Reason I ask this, the factory designed latch, on the passenger side, will/does operate different than what I've come up with for making the driver's side latch work with a lock. The locking/unlocking is determined at the latch. The door lock shaft only turns. I'm still gonna make it work.
