Jerry, you must post a video of that motor running after you finish... sort of a DZ 265? I always wanted to build a DZ 302, but never had anything that I thought was light enough to put it in.

As far as the Ford 289 goes. A long time ago, I once had the chance to drive two different AC Cobras (real ones) side by side- a 427 and a 289. The 289 had a lot of internal work done to it, but it was bone stock appearing on the outside- it was a far better engine than the 427, I thought (and a lot more fun to drive), hands down. That 289 was ridiculously fast.
