Your relay is a single pole-single throw type switch or relay. Grounding one side of the relay, via the horn button, moves a relay contactor to make connection between the 6 or 12 volt connection and the horn connection. Remove the horn wire and alligator clip in a bulb or voltmeter (to save your ears). Move the wires around until you get it right. You will not hurt anything.
