I'm curious to what exactly makes you think its a car engine? If its from a car with a power glide then it sounds like I have a hydraulic lifter 235 which is a bummer as I was thinking it was solid lifters since I was told it came out of a panel truck. I see on this website that the casting number of 3836233 says its a 55 second series truck: http://www.1954advance-design.com/Stovebolt-engine/casting-numbers.htmlBut I cant seem to find what the letters "IT" designate. | | |
