I don't totally understand your question???

You state you have a 1949 216 but would it work on a 58~62 235? Which are you going to use? Different carbs will be desirable for each application.

There is nothing wrong with the 1949 Carter W-1 EXCEPT availability of accelerator pumps.

As to the Daytona carbs: I have not personally seen one, have no experience with them, so just asking you a question. Where are you going to find engineering help to make a determination if you have no engineering specifications? Where, other than mail order from Daytona, are you going to get replacement parts if you get a bad tank of gasoline? Who are you going to get the put in the replacement parts if you CAN order replacement parts from Daytona?
