Jerry, I had not thought of that; I made pancakes (we are out of bread) and slowly pounded them in to push the bushing out. It worked okay, just a little difficult on my back under the truck. The tap would have been easier. Which brings up another question: it was a brass bushing that I removed, but bearings came as a replacement for the bushing. Should I reuse the bushing, or go back in with a new bearing? The bushing looks okay, just a little scared up but still snug on the shaft.
