Better yet, take the all the stuff off that had any type of explosive or propellant off of the seat before bringing it anywhere near indoors. I've never been really worried about ESD (electro static discharge) except when I was working on ejection seats or other types of explosives. Like HRL said, the seats are made for zero/zero ejections these days. Meaning that they are capable of lifting a 250 lb man quite a ways up from 0 feet up and 0 MPH. Even after everything is 'spent', there's usually some residue that can be lit off from one of those explosives.
