1hp per c.i. is very achievable. Yes it may cost more than dropping in a crate 350 but i like the inline. I'm not in a rush as the 216 in it right now is solid so if I spend a bit more collecting parts over a year+ then oh well.

Up here at least you don't see a ton of hopped up 6's. Every show the trucks are all running an LT1 or a 350... it gets boring and bland. Therefore i chose a 292 that I was able to pickup for a good price and go that route. There is a ton of support for these engines out there and no where else have I seen them categorized as short lived at the 1hp/ci range.
