Yep, especially the AD trucks were not well tolerant of single changes such as swapping the 4.11 for 3.55. You lose engine braking you always took for granted down the backside of hills. That was the big thing I didn't like. Never did wanna go the disc brake route, but it's the kinda thing that has to be considered when altering the magic 216/4.11 combination.
