Pretty much repainting that panel is the only choice. The whole panel vs blending are the two choices. Whole panel is far easier but obviously more work and materials. Hiding the blend takes high skills and experience .......most pros would just do the panel.

TIP: mask the edges with masking tape to avoid touching them when color sanding. If you don't, either the sand paper or the buffing will cut through.
