Welcome, Murdoc. If you are going to rebuild the brakes and want it all to last then you need to rebuild it all, completely. I am just rebuilding the brakes on my wifes 63 Dodge Dart and putting on new shoes, springs, wheel cylinders and master cylinder. didn't plan on replacing the brake lines as I didn't plan on restoring the old Dart, just keep it running, but now I find out I will need to replace the brake line also. Wish I had just bought all the parts at once. Now I will have to wait till tomorrow or later to get the parts. Heck!!! With these old rigs- if yer gonna do something- DO IT ONCE and DO IT "RIGHT"!!!-LOL

so, what I'm saying is replace everything you can, the brakes are the most important part. You do need to have that truck STOP!!!-LOL
