On my 46 the hinge is actually stamped into each side of the hood and there are no rivets. One side of the hood slides into the other. The side doors on the hood are riveted hinges held together by a steel rod which can be pulled out with lots of penetrating oil. This is a Canadian built 46 so there might be a slight difference.
