Called my grandfather over the weekend and told about all the information I'm learning about the truck and he sounded more excited than I am about all this. He says 1930 fits in the timeframe they were working with the thrasher so that is probably correct. Next time I go up there I will be sure to get pictures where serial numbers are.

@Maybellene Thank you for the pics of the '29 truck. There are definitely a lot of similarities between the two. Is finding parts for this truck going to be difficult enough that driving to Arizona to get this truck worth it?

@Mike B
picture Is this the fuel pump where the engine serial number is?

@JW51 Don't know when the spark plugs were pulled but my grandfather told me this truck hasn't been used for work since about 1950. I will most likely have to put a new engine in it.

For buying new parts I see American Classic Truck Parts is a site sponsor. The problem is there search only goes back to 1936. Is there enough similarities between a '30 and '36 where some parts will work for me? Are there any other sites that could be of use to me or is ebay/craigslist my best bet?
Thanks again for all y'alls help
