I put the phone (camera) back there and discovered that they're just weird screws. then I used a vice grip to remove them. i'll probably use them as you suggested to locate the new holes in the new headliner. thanks to all that replied, brian. p.s. now that I have photo sharing(thanks to my daughter) i'll get some pictures up. it's been over five years and I have a ton of pictures
