How about a Dremel with a sanding bit?
I will try it and let you know.
I am stripping the cab on my 46 and having the same issues. My problem is getting the paint out of the cowl vent and all of the seams around the cab. I used a 3M hook and loop drill attachment and that has worked pretty well, but it won't get down in the very tight spaces without tearing up the drill attachment.
