I have a reproduction '37 shop manual. If the '38 is anything like the '37, it won't help much on assembly. There is some basic wiring, brake, transmission, and engine information. The old truck is pretty basic and not all that hard to figure out. I pulled mine from a fence row 35 years after it was parked and was able to put it together without ever see a truck before this one.
